Who I Am
Hello, my name is Shanea, and I am a birth and postpartum doula. As a Doula since 2021, I feel honored to be able to share my expertise with women and families around RVA and surrounding counties. I approach birth holistically and love supporting home births. I am native of Portsmouth, VA but have resided in Richmond, VA for the last seven years. I am married with a young son that birthed my doula journey through his birth. I love giving women the support I had and needed during pregnancy, birth, and my postpartum journey. Shanea was very attentive and detailed. She knew what I needed before I did, She was very gentle in caring for my son while I recovered and went above and beyond with staying later then her time needed to make sure we were settled in after side effects kicked in from meds. Shanea is very easy to get along with and personal. She did a very good job and I would recommend her to all that I know!
